Samantha was born in London and raised in Southern Spain. It was as an itsy-bitsy beach babe that Samantha first established her creative talents and founding APSARA later in life was a natural move as she simply evolved from designing castles in the sand to designing luxe beachwear!

As she grew into her 4inch heels, Samantha’s first foray into fashion began at Woodhead Public Relations whose accounts included Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Ferragamo. Samantha’s entrepreneurial spirit and eye for detail were built upon her experiences in New York where she worked as a freelance stylist, gradually moved to Ralph Lauren and from there to Catherine Prevost who specialized in semi-precious jewellery design.

It was upon Samantha’s return to Europe that her fashion instinct foresaw the potential within the luxury beachwear market. There was an increased demand for stylish year-round holiday capsule collections but a lack of high end variety within the existing market. With a sleek sense of style and a clear vision for APSARA, Samantha has created capsule collections in soft palettes - barely there silk blend cover ups with delicate hand-worked detailing complement swimwear in muted metallics adorned by Murano glass medallions and a signature ‘booty bead’. The look: sassy, sexy and sophisticated!
